Characteristics 

All parts of the papayaplant contain medical characteristics as well as importand nutricians.

 

The ripe fruit contains al lot of vitamin E, B-complex, A (betacaroteen) and C. The fruit also contains aminoacid, chalk, iron and various enzymes.

 

Papaya is specially helpfull for people who have problems with their stomach. The enzym papaïne helps the digestive system to break down hard to digest proteïnes, carbohydrates and fats. Papaya is rich in fibers and this charateristic alone takes care of a good digestion and helps against constipation as well as diarrhea.

 

The leaves of the papaya plant are the most valuable part of the plant because these contain even larger amounts of nutrients than the fruit does. The characteristics of papaya can be used by making tea from the dried leaves or by mixing the dried leaves through a salad so the body benefits most because all of the leaf is consumed.

 

The enzymes found in papaya are a huge stimulation for the immune system, because of this the body is capable of recognizing cancercells and help preventing them from multiplying. People who had surgery from cancer are recovering better when using papaya.
